The usual problem with paying somebody to build you a website is that you end up unable to change a phone number without them. Kitset is built the other way round: whoever does the work does it in the same editor you would use, so when they are finished you can still change your own opening hours.
That also means you can move between doing it yourself and having help, in either direction, without rebuilding anything.
Step by step
In your dashboard, open the developer section.
Describe what you want. Plain words are fine.
You will get a quote before any work starts.
They build it in your site, you approve it, and it goes live.
If it does not go to plan
Do I still own it?
Yes. It is your site and your account throughout.
Can I take over later?
Yes, at any point. Remove their access and carry on in the editor.
