What Kitset costs and how to pay

One price, one card, no setup fee and no contract. You can build and change as much as you like before you pay anything.

About 3 minutes

Kitset is $10 a month including GST. That covers hosting your site, keeping it online, backing it up, the editor, the dashboard, the contact form, one web address of your own, and us answering your emails when you are stuck.

One thing costs extra and only one: additional web addresses beyond the first, at $2 a month each. Most businesses never need a second. If you do connect more, your dashboard says what you are paying before the charge appears.

You do not pay to build. You can spend a fortnight getting a site right and never enter a card, because the card is only asked for when you want the public to see it. And when you want to stop, you cancel from the same place, with no phone call and no notice period.

Step by step

  1. Open your dashboard and expand Set-up.

  2. Find "Your plan" and press Add my card.

  3. Enter your card. Payment is handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.

  4. That is it. Your site can go live, and the charge repeats monthly on the same date.

If it does not go to plan

What happens if my card fails?

We try again over the following days and email you. Your site stays online while that is happening. We do not take a site down over an expired card without telling you first.

How do I stop paying?

Manage billing on the same plan card, then cancel. Your site stays online until the end of the month you have already paid for.

Do I own my website?

Yes. The words, the photos and the design are yours. If you leave we will give you the files.
