What we teach

Maths, English and NCEA prep

Small classes so we notice where a student is stuck, not just how far behind they are.

Primary maths and reading

Building confidence in the basics for years 3 to 8, with regular short assessments so parents can see progress, not just hear about it.

NCEA maths and English

Levels 1 to 3, matched to what is being taught in class, with extra focus in the run-up to internals and exams.

One-on-one sessions

For students who need more than a group can give, matched with a tutor who suits how they learn.

The Bright Path classroom
Who we are

Four tutors, one focus

Bright Path was started by former teacher Emma Sutherland in 2018, working from a spare room until the classes outgrew it. There are four tutors now, all qualified teachers or in their final year of training.

We keep classes to six students so nobody gets left behind quietly. Every term starts with a short assessment, so we know exactly where to start.

What it costs

Charged by the term, with a free initial assessment so we can recommend the right class instead of guessing.

From $28 a session

Sibling discounts apply, and sessions missed with notice can be made up in another class.
