A short list, done well, and a little different every week.
A country loaf, a seeded loaf and a rye, all on a 36-hour ferment. Whole or half, sliced if you like.
Croissants, almond croissants, cinnamon scrolls and whatever fruit is in season. Baked in two rounds, 7am and 9am.
Steak and cheese, chicken and leek, a vegetarian one that changes weekly. Sandwiches on our own bread from 11.
We are Sam and Priya. We met in a bakery in Wellington, moved to Nelson for the sun and opened Millers Lane in 2019 with a second-hand mixer and a lot of optimism.
Everything is made here, by hand, from New Zealand flour and butter. When it is gone, it is gone, and we would rather run out than bake it the day before.
